Agradecemos o convite para enviar saudações por ocasião do 98º aniversário da UJC

Temos acompanhado com grande interesse os desenvolvimentos dentro de sua organização e desejamos expressar nosso apoio ao processo de reconstrução que vocês estão empreendendo e à luta que estão travando contra o oportunismo e o reformismo. A importância de uma organização independente da classe trabalhadora não pode ser subestimada, particularmente no contexto latino-americano, onde a social-democracia está sendo usada para afastar cada vez mais os jovens da política de classe.

Muitas organizações dentro do movimento comunista internacional têm empreendido, nos últimos 20 anos, a enorme tarefa de reconstrução. Isso tem sido um enorme desafio, mas trouxe benefícios significativos para os trabalhadores e suas organizações. Nós nos inspiramos no trabalho que tem sido feito nesse sentido e esperamos que, em tempos desafiadores, vocês também possam contar com os partidos da Ação Comunista Europeia para orientação, apoio e incentivo.

Juventude do Partido dos Trabalhadores está em um período de reconstrução e rejuvenescimento, em um momento em que os riscos não poderiam ser maiores. A luta contra o oportunismo, o revisionismo e o chauvinismo continua a se intensificar tanto no âmbito nacional quanto internacional. A arma mais forte à nossa disposição nessa luta é a forte expressão de solidariedade internacional. Comprometemo-nos a intensificar nossa luta, ampliar nossa solidariedade e aumentar nossa cooperação.

Desejamos-lhes o melhor e esperamos que o aniversário lhes proporcione oportunidades valiosas para refletir profundamente sobre a história e o futuro de sua organização, bem como seu lugar no movimento comunista internacional.

Dear comrades,

We thank you for your invitation to send greetings on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the UJC.

We have been following the developments within your organisation with great interest, and wish to express support for the process of reconstruction you are undertaking, and the struggle you are waging against opportunism and reformism. The importance of an independent organisation of the working class cannot be understated, particularly in the Latin American context where social democracy is being used to pull young people further and further away from class based politics.

Many organisations within the international communist movement have within the last 20 or so years have undertaken the enormous task of reconstruction. This has been immensely challenging, however it has yielded serious benefits for the working people and their organisations. We are inspired by the work that has been done in this regard, and hope that in challenging times you also can look to the parties of the European Communist Action for guidance, support, and encouragement.

The Workers Party Youth is in a period of reconstruction and rejuvenation, at a time where the stakes could not be higher. The fight against opportunism, revisionism and chauvinism continues to intensify both domestically and internationally. The strongest weapon at our disposal in this fight is strong expressions of international solidarity. We commit to intensify our struggle, broaden our solidarity, and increase our cooperation.
